This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to this website, operated by Leading From The Back Advisory Pvt. Ltd. under the brand Leading from the Back (“LfB”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It explains how we collect, use and protect information when you visit the website, use the contact form or get in touch with us (together, the “Services”).

We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use our Services.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name and email address (required), and your organisation and role (optional).
  • Form submission record: when you submit the contact form we also store the date and time, your IP address, your browser type (user agent) and the exact consent wording you agreed to. This is our record of your consent and helps us block spam.
  • Correspondence: anything you tell us when you email us or message us on WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: when you load this website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and basic browser information, as with any website.
  • Analytics cookies: with your consent only, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, such as pages viewed, time spent, approximate location and device type. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years, and sends this information to Google. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
  • Your cookie choice: we remember whether you accepted or declined analytics in your browser’s local storage, so we don’t ask again on every page. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • No other tracking: we do not use advertising cookies. Our fonts are served from our own website, so no third-party font service receives your data.

8. People featured on this website

This website shows the names, photographs, roles and biographies of the LfB team, endorsements from business and academic leaders, testimonials from programme participants, and photographs from our programmes. We publish team details and programme photographs with the consent of the people shown. Endorsements are reproduced from the published book Leading from the Back, and participant testimonials are shown without names.

If you appear on this website and would like your details corrected or removed, write to lfb@leadingfromtheback.ai and we will act on your request promptly.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

10. Third-party services

This website links to services we do not control, such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn and your email provider. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; their own policies apply when you use them.

11. Grievance Officer

If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer. We will resolve your grievance within one month of receiving it.
